The violent incident happened just before 4:30 p.m. on Fulton Street. Police say when they arrived, they saw Adams with stab wounds to his chest. They say there was a verbal dispute beforehand that may have led up to the stabbing.

News 12 spoke with Adams' brother David, who says Corwin is a father of four children. David says he was also known in the area as "Get Rite" and says he was well-loved in the community.

"I don't know why someone would do this to him and we're looking for him. We hope justice is served. I'm shocked, my nephews don't have a father. I'm just lost for words," said David.

Anyone with information is urged to call 1- 800-577-TIPS.
