An NYPD officer working in the Bronx has been suspended for being unfit for duty, according to police officials.
Richard Evans, 44, of the 52nd Precinct, was suspended yesterday.
Police say Evans and his partner were responding to a call on Webster Avenue and a civilian lodged a complaint with the NYPD about the cop's "appearance."
Unconfirmed reports suggest Evans may have been drinking while on the job, however, police did not verify.
