Five people were injured as a fire ripped through an apartment building in Brownsville late Friday, officials say.
Fire officials tell News 12 they responded to the 14-story building just before midnight at 422 Blake Ave.
Twenty units and 78 first responders were on the scene to put out the fire that started on the third floor.
News 12 is told they were able to get things under control in just under an hour.
The five victims were treated at the scene.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
