Three different robberies across the Bronx have targeted similar victims - cab drivers.
The first robbery took place on Easter Sunday, when a man was picked up on East Gun Hill Road. Once the driver reached the destination about a mile away, the suspect took out a gun.
The driver was able to stop and safely escape, but the suspect stole the driver's Honda Accord, $300 cash and two cellphones.
The following day in Hunts Point, a similar incident took place on 820 Jackson Ave. when a man displayed what may be a razor blade to the driver's neck and took off with $100.
Another incident occurred on April 19, when a livery cab driver was stabbed in the face and neck over $40.
The last incident prompted reaction from the state Federation of Taxi Drivers, who spoke on behalf of the family and offered a $1,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest.
Police released a video of the suspect they believe assaulted the last driver and say he is also wanted for robbing a 58-year-old woman in an elevator last month.
Anyone with information that can help police identify the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
