A home invasion suspect was arrested by U.S. Marshals in New York this week, Norwalk police say.

Police say on Oct. 30, Christian Chavez-Sosa broke into a home, destroyed items and terrorized the victim.

At the time, he had a protective order in place.

Chavez-Sosa strangled the victim in their bed, according to authorities.

The victim's child was also in the bed.

Police say Chavez-Sosa returned to the residence on Nov. 4., where he harassed the victim and made obscene gestures from his vehicle.

Marshalls located Chavez-Sosa in Gloversville, NY.

Norwalk police transported Christian Chavez-Sosa back to headquarters where he was charged with home invasion, strangulation and burglary.

He is expected to appear in court Monday.
