Optimum has announced that its 100% Optimum Fiber Internet network is continuing to lead the tri-state in performance.

Optimum earned multiple No. 1 rankings from Ookla® Speedtest® for the second half of 2025.

In addition, Optimum outperformed all major 5G home internet carriers in speed, reliability and consistency.

The results highlight Optimum Fiber as delivering the fastest and most reliable internet speeds, along with the lowest latency and best gaming experience in several major markets.

Those markets include New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

“Optimum’s continued investment in our network and infrastructure reflects our dedication to delivering the outstanding connectivity our customers expect,” said Luciano Ramos, chief product and technology officer at Optimum. “We’re proud to deliver exceptional performance and value, and we remain focused on being the connectivity provider of choice in every community we serve.”

Optimum’s fiber network reaches more than 3 million passings, with expansion continuing across Optimum’s footprint. Multi‑gig service options of 2, 5 and 8 Gig are widely available within the company’s fiber footprint in the New York tri-state area.

Optimum says it is continuously expanding and upgrading its network to bring more speed, reliability and capacity to the markets it serves.
