Ossining High School switched to full remote learning Friday after a threat was made over social media Thursday night.
School officials say the threat suggested violence at the school against students.
The post was made by a person who claimed to be a student at Ossining, according to police.
No threats were made against other schools in the district, so district officials say those buildings were open.
The incident is under investigation.
