More than 7,000 cyclists came out to participate in one of the biggest yearly events in the Bronx on Sunday.
The 22nd annual Tour de Bronx began at Harris Field on Goulden Avenue.
There were two routes that riders could participate in, either 25 or 40 miles. Each route weaved through different neighborhoods.
This year's organizers switched up the route and shut down part of the Grand Concourse for the first time. They also included some new landmarks like the Bronx Museum and the Kingsbridge Armory.
The Tour de Bronx ended at the Botanical Gardens with a celebration of live music and entertainment.
Organizers say this is the largest free cycling event in the state.
