Residents in a Parkchester apartment building on Metropolitan Avenue say they’re fed up with an elevator that constantly breaks down.
Jennifer, who lives on the sixth floor with her elderly mother and disabled daughter, says it can take her more than an hour to get up and down the stairs.
She says the outages make it nearly impossible to get groceries or keep her daughter’s therapy appointments.
She says management has not offered a permanent solution, and residents say they’re left waiting on hold when they call for help.
News 12 reached out to Parkchester Management for a statement and is waiting to hear back.
