Officials are investigating what caused a partial collapse inside a privately owned parking garage in White Plains.
It happened around 9 a.m. Wednesday at 50 Hale Ave.
Officials say part of the fifth floor partially collapsed on to the fourth floor, crushing some cars and leaving behind significant damage.
"Just a lot of chaos," says Sun Matsui, whose car is parked in the garage.
Emergency crews on the scene said it's a miracle no one was hurt.

"We are blessed, if it was at 8:30 a.m., who knows what would have happened," says Commissioner of White Plains Public Safety, David Chong.
About 14 to 15 cars were in what officials are calling "the collapse zone."
Fire departments were called in from several surrounding agencies to help and to get things secure.
"It's called wood shoring, we have to shore up and help support all these beams that are in this parking garage," says Chief Joseph Citrone, who is with the Yonkers Fire Department.
People with cars in the garage had to find a different way home Wednesday, they told us they weren't allowed back inside.
"I have medicine in my car that I really need and I can't get to it today so it's frustrating," says Samantha Hendrie, whose car is parked in the garage.
Engineers were still inside the garage assessing the impact of the partial collapse, as of Wednesday evening.
There is no word right now on when people can go back to get their cars
News 12 tried to reach the manager of the parking garage. One phone number we tried, a person told us "no comment."
