New photos have been released of two people wanted for a bold robbery last week at the Elder Avenue station.
A 23-year-old man was going up the stairs to catch the 6 train when two men approached him. One of them pulled out a gun and threatened the victim and the other snatched the man's headphones and cash. They both ran off toward Boynton Avenue. Police say the victim was not hurt as a result of the robbery.
The attack happened on Sept. 23 at 5:40 a.m.
According to NYPD data, transit crime is down 12% in The Bronx despite these recent attacks. This time last year there were almost 250, right now there are 220.
The two men wanted are still at large. If you recognize them call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
