Police: 12-year-old boy critically hurt in Bed-Stuy shooting

A 12-year-old boy was critically injured during a shooting in Bed-Stuy late Saturday, police say.

A 12-year-old boy was critically injured during a shooting in Bed-Stuy late Saturday, police say.
The incident happened when the child was walking on Malcolm X Boulevard near Madison Avenue.
The child managed to get to Hello Liquor Store and ask for help.
Police tell News 12 the owner then called 911.
News 12 is told two groups were arguing around 10 p.m. when the shots rang out.
The child is expected to be OK.
Police tell News 12 it’s unclear if the 12-year-old boy was an innocent bystander or the intended target.
