Police say that two 17-year-old girls were shot inside Arcilla Playground on Monday night.

The incident took place near Teller Avenue around 8 p.m., according to police. They say when they arrived at the scene, they found the two teenagers shot. Both were rushed to Harlem Hospital and are in stable condition.

Police are saying that the two girls were not believed to be the intended target of the gunfire, and the investigation is still ongoing.

The NYPD has no one in custody related to this incident at this time.
