Police say two teenagers were stabbed Wednesday afternoon in Tremont.
The incident occurred at around 3:45 p.m. at Third Avenue and East 176th Street.
Witnesses say that two young males were chased by a group of teens. They say that one boy was slashed in the face and the other was stabbed in the stomach. There appeared to be a screwdriver and knife at the scene.
Police say the victims attend the nearby Eagle Academy for Young Men.
The boys were transported to the hospital, where they are in stable condition.
