10h agoPolice say a 2-year-old boy is recovering after he fell nine stories out of a window in the Bronx Friday night.
Neighbors at the Forest Houses say they heard the mother screaming for help and that the child fell into an area that was under construction.
According to police, the child went tumbling through a space that is typically used to hold an air conditioner.
When police arrived, they say the boy was alert and he was taken to a hospital in Harlem.
