Officials: Bronx man behind bars following series of armed carjackings in Bergen County
yesterdayPolice tell News 12 at 1 a.m. Sunday a 25-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by a man she didn't know.
The incident happened in the area of East Moshulu Parkway and Webster Avenue. Officials say the man ran away after, and the woman was brought to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi. The woman is expected to be OK physically.
The suspect is still on the loose, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward by calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577 (TIPS).
