Four men from New Jersey and New York accused of running a COVID-19 testing scheme are facing federal conspiracy charges.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says two of the men operated Met-Path labs in Parsippany and paid kickbacks to marketers, including the other two men, for referrals of COVID-19 test samples. The marketers received $5 to $30 per referral.
If convicted, each man could face up to five years in prison.
