Police: 83-year-old punched in the face, robbed by 2 men in Bed-Stuy elevator

A man was attacked and robbed inside a Bed-Stuy apartment building earlier this month.

A man was attacked and robbed inside a Bed-Stuy apartment building earlier this month.
Police say it happened on Monday, April 13 around 2 p.m. inside an apartment building near MacDonough Street and Thomas S. Boyland Street.
According to police, two suspects followed the 83-year-old victim into his building, punched him in the face, put a gun to his head and stole his wallet.
The attack was captured on surveillance cameras. Video shows the victim and two other men inside an elevator. Police say inside his wallet were two money orders worth about $150.
News 12 is told the victim suffered minor injuries and was treated by EMS.
