A suspect is in custody in a shooting at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in the Bronx Tuesday.
Keber Martinez, 25, faces multiple charges, including attempted murder. Police say he opened fire at another man inside a waiting room.
Surveillance video shows a man in a black hoodie by the reception desk as he pulls out a gun and fires several times at a man in a blue sweatshirt.
Martinez fired four shots, according to police, and the victim suffered a gunshot wound to his left arm. The surveillance footage obtained by News 12 shows there is a child sitting in the back during the entirety of the incident. Police say they arrested Martinez Tuesday night in connection to the shooting.
No one else in the waiting room was injured. Martinez, who has six prior charges, is now being charged with attempted murder, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon.
