Police have arrested a Manhasset man who they say had over a dozen handguns in his home.

Investigators say they found 18 handguns at Matthew Spigner's home on Circle Drive.

The discovery came after detectives executed a search warrant of the 69-year-old's home, officials say. It's currently unclear why the warrant was issued.

Spigner is charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say he will be arraigned when he's medically able.
