Police say the owner of the Baldwin Bowl & Lounge was arrested during a 'quality-of-life' initiative.

Officials say the building had two illegal gambling machines inside, and that drinks were being served without a valid liquor license.

The Town of Hempstead boarded up the building.

Police say the owner, 48-year-old William Shasho, of Brooklyn, had two previous active warrants in Nassau County.
