Drivers faced some traffic Christmas Eve after a car crashed into a pole on Bruckner Boulevard.
Police say the car was lodged on top of a crash barrier after smashing into a pedestrian signal pole.
They shut down one lane on Bruckner Boulevard when the crash happened just before 4 p.m.
It took police about an hour to dislodge the vehicle by using chains to tug the vehicle off of the barrier with chains. They then used an emergency vehicle to push the car into position to be towed away.
The FDNY says three people were taken to New York City Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. It is unclear what their conditions were.
Police say one man was arrested at the scene but did not provide any details at this time.
