Two men were shot when gunfire rang out on a residential block in Morris Heights on Monday, according to officials.
Police say at around 7 p.m., a 31-year-old man was shot in the leg and a 30-year-old man was grazed in the neck by a bullet. It happened outside of an apartment building on Nelson Avenue and Brandt Place.
Police say the shooter rode away on a moped down Nelson Avenue.
One witness was outside with her baby when she heard four shots ring out.
"Whatever building, whatever safety, get my baby in the building, there were a lot of people and hopefully he gets put in jail because the first time I've seen him he was acting crazy, the second time I've seen him in passing and still he was acting crazy," said Mariah, a witness.
No arrests have been made.
