A homeless man turned on the churchgoing Morrisania woman who'd offered him temporary shelter, stabbing her and her 3-year-old daughter with a broken bottle, police say.

Police say they arrested Chistian Valdez, 28, for allegedly kicking down the door of Jenny Aquino, 37, and attacking her. The two had met at church.

Surveillance video shows neighbors rushing to Aquino's rescue after Valdez allegedly forced her and her daughter to the fire escape, where they dangled dangerously after tryng to flee.

Aquino and the child are both expected to recover.
