Police: Man breaks into Bronx Popeyes, steals safe

A man was caught on surveillance camera breaking the window to a Popeyes to steal a safe with around $2,000 inside.

Police say a man broke into a Popeyes on Oct. 10, and snuck into the back to steal a safe that contained approximately $2,000.
Surveillance video of the fast food location at 2809 3rd Avenue shows the man breaking a glass window with a large stone before hoisting himself through the window and into the restaurant.
From there, the man crawled through the window which people order from, and then picks up a black safe box that reportedly had around $2,000 inside, according to police.
