Police: Man fatally shot on street in Allerton

Police say a man was fatally shot near 600 Thwaites Place in the Bronx early Saturday morning.

Police say a man was fatally shot near 600 Thwaites Place in the Bronx early Saturday morning.
Officers say they got a call for a man shot around 2 a.m.
When officers got to the scene, they say they saw a man unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the neck.
Emergency personnel responded and pronounced the man dead on the scene.
Police say he was 36-years-old, but did not release his identity.
Officers are not sure whether there is one person or multiple people responsible for this shooting. They say the shooter or shooters got away in a black vehicle.
