A 31-year-old man was stabbed in the torso early Sunday morning during an argument on the J train at Myrtle Avenue station.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where authorities say he is currently in stable condition.

The stabbing around 2 a.m. caused delays for the J trains in both directions as first responders arrived to help the man.

This is the second subway stabbing that has taken place this weekend. On Saturday morning, a 32-year-old from the Bronx died after being stabbed on the southbound 4 train.

No arrests have been made for the attacks yet, according to authorities.

Although transit crimes are trending down compared to last year, there have been over 900 incidents reported to NYPD in 2023.

Bronx residents told News 12 that they are concerned by the latest violent incident.

"We're new residents in the area so it's definitely concerning,” said one resident.

"It’s like you look at somebody the wrong way they want to stab you, shoot you, beat you up. It's crazy,” said another resident.
