Police have released new photos of the person wanted in a stabbing on a southbound No. 4 train in Highbridge.
Police say this all started as the train was approaching the East 167th Street/River Avenue station. They say the attacker sat next to the victim and then started a heated argument. He then stabbed him in the stomach with a sharp object. Police say he ran away after and the victim was rushed to the hospital. The victim survived.
Last week's stabbing at the station is the second one to happen in at least two months. However, NYPD data shows transit crime is down more than 20% in the area of the 44th Precinct compared to this time last year.
