Police say a tractor-trailer overturned and fell onto the New England Thruway, shutting down the Hutchinson River Parkway for hours early Saturday morning.

They say the incident happened just before midnight.

Police say the driver lost control, causing the truck to fall over the guardrail.

He was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi with minor injuries. No one else was injured.
