The NYPD is searching for two individuals connected to
two robbery incidents along Jerome Avenue in the Bronx.
The first incident took place on June 16, when the two
suspects approached a 37-year-old male,
Police say one of the men used a knife to slash the
victim’s arm and face, while the other suspect stole the victim’s phone.
In the second incident on June 21, police say only one
man approached a 61-year-old victim and began going through his pockets. A
brief physical altercation ensued, before the victim fell and struck his
head and knee on the ground. He was able to hold onto his wallet.
The suspect in the second incident is a male who was
last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a Paris basketball logo in
blue and red.
