As Pope Francis continues his tour of New York, he's visited the Sept. 11 memorial, where he lead a service.
He stopped at the reflection pool and met with victims' family members before the multi-religious prayer service inside the 9/11 Museum's Foundation Hall.
People representing eight religious traditions including Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, Jain and Native American were in attendance.
Pope Francis hopes to show the world that at the same place where violence was committed against innocent people in the name of religion, world religions can come together peacefully as a counter statement to acts of terror.
