The Port Washington School District says its prom will adhere to all CDC guidelines, but some feel the COVID-19 rules are crashing the party.
The school says attendees will have to show proof of vaccination to enter without a mask, and will have to wear a wristband signifying that.
Those without the shot will need proof of a negative test, and will have to wear a mask.
The district says it is in close contact with local and state health officials and will continue to regularly monitor any changes in guidance.
The Port Washington School District told News 12 that it will be following all guidelines from the CDC.
It released a statement saying that the health and safety of students, staff and community are the Port Washington School District's foremost priorities.
