Primary Day in New Jersey has come and gone and now the battle lines are drawn for the midterm elections. Director of the Rebovich Institute of Politics at Rider University Micah Rasmussen joins News 12's Eric Landskroner to discuss his takeaway from the results.

Newark will be scaling back its police presence after two weeks of tense protesting outside Delaney Hall. Mayor Ras Baraka says it should be up to the private company that runs the immigration jail to keep it secure.

Gov. Mikie Sherrill is celebrating changes at the Motor Vehicle Commission, which are making it much easier for drivers to get a Real ID. New Jersey residents will need that new driver's license if they want to board a plane without a passport.
