Power has been restored to some Bronx neighborhoods following a rain storm that packed gusty winds.
The lights back at Monticello Avenue, just one of the areas, especially in the northern and eastern parts of the Bronx that lost power around midnight Christmas eve and Christmas day.
Con Edison seems to be beating their online estimates for restoring power in a lot of places.
Their website says Monticello Avenue wouldn't be fixed until 11 a.m. on Saturday - instead, residents tell News 12 that power came back between 4 and 7 p.m. Friday night.
In a statement, Con-Ed says that they should have all storm-related outages in Staten Island, Brooklyn and Queens fixed overnight, while 95 percent of houses in the Bronx will be back online by 11 p.m., with crews continuing work until that number IS 100.
