Protesters gathered at the Bronx County Hall of Justice to call for an end to racism.
Organizers say their message is that more needs to be done to help America's black population.
"We're here because there are people who are dying on a regular basis, on a regular basis for being black, just for being black and it's not fair," says Aubrey Brown.
The NYPD says only 40 arrests were made Friday as this and other protests remained peaceful.
