PSAL: Return of high school sports contingent on in-person learning

11ds agoOn Tuesday, the Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL) sent a
statement to schools and coaches to provide an update on the state of school
sports.
The PSAL says it “remains determined to return in the safest
environment possible for all students throughout the city.”
The statement goes on to say that any plans to restart PSAL
sports are contingent on high schools returning to in-person learning.
When that happens, the PSAL says it will make another
statement concerning its return.
No PSAL sports have taken place through the fall or winter
seasons.
