According to Gas Buddy, the national average is the lowest it's been in three years.
Right now, the average in Connecticut is $3.02 per gallon.
Last year it was $3.30 in 2021 - gas price was $3.51.
Those at the pumps have mixed emotions on how good these prices are.
“It’s under $3 and I hope it stays that way,” said a driver.
“$2.89, $3, I don’t really think it’s much of a difference,” said another driver.
According to Gas Buddy the cheapest station in Connecticut is priced at $2.65 and the most expensive is $3.89.
