With the holiday season in full swing and gifts being bought and sent across the United States, experts are warning shoppers to beware of package thieves.  

A new study from CCTV cameras say that people should expect more packages to get stolen this year. Package theft is a growing problem in the U.S. – 14% of Americans reported having a package stolen at least once in 2022, according to C+R Research.  

The NYPD says that burglaries are down across the city, but that shoppers should still stay vigilant when it comes to watching over their packages.
