Members of the Jewish community celebrated the first night of Hanukkah at the Bronx Jewish Center on Pelham Parkway on Sunday.
The event featured a menorah lighting, activities for the kids and treats for the whole community.  It also included a chocolate fountain for some added sweetness.
The festive holiday features a candle-lighting ceremony for eight nights, traditional Jewish foods and exchanging gifts and blessings.
