Residents of Mott Haven apartment say they've had no water for 1 week

According to the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development website, there have been 16 complaints of no water in the building since last week.

Residents in a Mott Haven apartment building say they've been left without water since last week.

Jasmine Pimentel lives at 440 East 138th St. She says she hasn't had running water in her apartment since Monday, July 24. Pimentel lives alone with her three dogs and says she hasn't been able to cook, shower, wash dishes, do laundry or go to the bathroom easily in the last week.

According to the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development website, there have been 16 complaints of no water in the building since last week. 

News 12 spoke to some residents who didn't want to appear on camera that said they also had no water in the building.

News 12 has reached out to Sharp Management who oversees the apartment building and the Housing Development and Preservation agency and is awaiting responses.
