Schooling during the pandemic takes mental toll on students and teaches alike
Schools all over New Jersey are utilizing different models this school year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Some students are attending classes at home via virtual learning, others are back at school for in-person lessons and others are participating in a hybrid of the two models. And some schools are switching back and forth as cases of the virus are confirmed.
It is a lot to keep track of, and the opening and closing of schools can take a toll on students and teachers.
Nick Ferroni, a history teacher at Union High School, spoke with News 12’s Kristina Behr to shed some light on some of the stresses teachers are facing during the pandemic and what they can do to help.
