A new storage facility has
arrived in Norwalk to meet the growing demand caused by the pandemic.
People are now in need of more storage as some are moving to new homes, living with adult children at their homes
or seeking more space to work from
home.
Secure Self Storage on Connecticut Avenue already was in short supply of
available spaces, so it built
another facility on Willard Road.
Apartments are going to be built around the new storage facility.
Richard Corraro, of Secure Self Storage, says people have experienced all
different kinds of things during this time.
“They are stuck in the middle,” Corraro says.
Some of those customers say they are keeping their stuff in storage until the
fall.
He says customers for the storage facility are not just homeowners that are
moving, but also contractors and carpenters.
