Sephora has accepted the challenge to dedicate 15 percent of its shelf space to black-owned brands.
The beauty retailer is the latest retailer to take the "fifteen percent pledge."
The company says it is making a long-term plan to diversify its supply chain.
As of now just 9 of the 2,900 brands sold at Sephora are black owned.
The retailer is working with Aurora James, who created the fifteen percent pledge to reach the goal.
