The Seton Hall women’s basketball team is on a four-game
winning streak as they approach the halfway point of the season.
The team’s season was paused twice, and head coach Tony Bozzella missed the
first few games while battling the coronavirus.
The head coach says the pandemic is also taking a mental toll on players.
“Come to practice, we try to feed them lunch, go back to your room and don’t go
out,” Bozzella says. “Doing that one day is tough, doing that for three days is
tough, how about 12 weeks?”
The team also
faces schedule changes and playing without fans in the stands.
They are tied for 21st in the nation in scoring offense.
The team is 7-3 and hopes to make it into the Big East tournament.
