A local nonprofit is hoping to help people in need by giving away clothes, shoes, toiletries and more.
Sidewalk Samaritan was founded by Emily Borghard. She survived an experimental brain surgery and is now using her voice to help others.
The program brings relief to the homeless population across the city.
Borghard says that with the heat, it can be hard for those who are homeless to be outside and get what they need.
The organization says it helps over 200 people every week and has raised over $5,000 for donations.
