The single-dose Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccine will be made available to patients beginning Thursday at Yankee Stadium -- which will move to 24/7 operation to make shots available.
Wednesday marks the last day the vaccination site will close at 8 p.m. for now.
The Pfizer vaccine will be given from 8 a.m. to 7: 30 p.m. and the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be given overnight, from 8 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
SOMOS Community Care, the organization running the vaccination site, says it is in the business of providing health care to the underserved.
The stadium has vaccinated over 35,000 Bronx residents in just a month after opening.
SOMOS hopes to vaccinate an additional 10,000 people per week.
