Bronx residents hoping for an early spring were let down Friday when they woke up to snowy conditions and slick roads. 

A clipper system moved into the region early this morning, coating many cars and roadways with snow. 

News 12 meteorologists say snow accumulations for today should only be around a half inch. 

Although, temperatures are much colder with highs near 39 degrees. 

Next week, there is a potential for a warmup.
