St. Raymond Elementary School is hosting its Mad Science in-person event today after two years filled with workshops and performers for preschoolers.
Mad Science turned the St. Raymond auditorium into a lab for preschoolers. Volcanos erupted, play dough was created and chemistry was explained through fun mixing experiments.
The laughter from the students said it all, and it appeared that nothing beats being back together and interacting in person.
Mad Science first began as a way to teach kids about science. The Mad Scientist himself visits schools throughout the five boroughs and Westchester, saying doing workshops remotely just didn't compare.
The school said they hope to keep bringing in more guests as it’s like being able to take a field trip without leaving the building.
