News 12’s Julio Avila takes you through an exhibition in Manhattan that not only spans many galaxies, but also the mind and imagination of the person behind it.

And storm watch team. Meteorologist, Alex Calamia, Alex. If folks are going out and about today for any of those winter activities, it looks like the rain is going to stop at some point. Right. Yeah. You know, I mean, but it might not be until after the day ends in a sense because sun sets before 430 now and I don't really see us getting a big break from the rain until the evening time. This is what it looks like. Right now in midtown, it's a light rain. You might actually be able to head outside without even using the umbrella. I personally have a rain jacket because I think that's kind of your best bet. This evening, we still have some sprinkles, but we are dry for a work week. I mean, I don't want to talk about the work week on a Sunday morning, but if you're looking for something positive, I've got that for you in the 10 day. Here's 9 a.m. soaker, here's lunch time, still dealing with at least light showers. You see the green is a lighter shade here so it's not as widespread. It's not as heavy of a rain. But we still have some rain at four o'clock again. It's not absolutely pouring, but it's light mist, gloomy, kind of just, you know, not good weather, but it's not going to be anything really significant as far as rainfall totals. They're very limited. So we're maybe looking at half of an inch of rain when it's all said and done. Monday morning. Lots of sunshine. Beautiful start to the day and then the clouds push in Monday afternoon and we'll have cooler temperatures. By Tuesday. We're in the upper forties now. We're in the low fifties for highs today. Not a big jump in temperature. East breeze coming in. It feels really chilly tonight. Not bad. We're in the forties again. We do have sunshine by Monday morning. So a good feel as you're getting, the kids ready for school are heading out to work. We do hit mid ff on Monday and again, no rain after today for the whole work week. So that's something to be happy about, but it will get cold Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday too, by the way, will feel like it is in the thirties.

Alex Calamia. I feel like this is the perfect Sunday to just cozy up inside. I agree because I stepped outside briefly and was like, just so surprised at how dark it was Jen. And it's because of how thick the clouds are, but the rain is becoming a lot more scattered, a lot more drizzly and then eventually it just dissipates this evening. So you might be able to actually manage to go out without an umbrella, especially after sunset. The work week is totally dry. So that makes life a lot easier for us to plan. You do see that the rain chance is still more 50% through 10 o'clock. So that does mean that odds are you're at least dealing with drizzle and a little bit of mist until close to midnight. But then the rain chance drops off pretty quickly and we're not talking about a lot of additional rain. So you see uh totals including this morning, maybe a half of an inch or so. So that's manageable. Unfortunately, because it's been raining all day, the roads are a little slick. Visibility is a little reduced. So give yourself some time to get to where you have to go temperature right all day for the lower parts of Westchester County and the rest of us. Poughkeepsie, Kingston pine bush. You're in the mid forties, you drop very briefly into the thirties. Tonight. In the Upper Hudson Valley, there could be some frost in a few cooler neighborhoods. The rest of us are warmer. We're in the forties. It looks ok. Monday a little bit cooler in orange, Ulster County in the higher elevations. Most of us though get close to 50. We have a lot of sunshine in the morning and then clouds push in around lunchtime tomorrow, but those clouds do not produce showers. It's dry a less than 10% chance of rain on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. So this is your entire work week that's looking dry, but it cools down. So we go from 52 Wednesday to 45 on Thursday. Um, actually 45 on Tuesday by Thursday though. You're at 41 degrees. So that's the coolest afternoon out of the bunch. First night of Hanukkah. You're down to 32 for that Friday morning and then we rebound to the fifties for next weekend. So it's a

Star Wars fans, listen up! New exhibition in Manhattan opens

if you have one to go off into an exhibition set across the Galaxies. But if you only have a car or use mass transit, you can go as well tonight, we're taking you to that exhibition in Manhattan that not only spans many Galaxies, but also the minds and imaginations of the people behind it. Here's News 12's Julio Avila who gives us a look In a galaxy not so far away, you'll find an exhibit where a fan's passion for star wars and reality intertwined. This is an incredible collection of over 600 objects that have been compiled over 25 years by a super fan passionate collector. That fan's name is Daniel Prada since he was a teenager work that building up this collection of every single character and figure that you can imagine. It's all part of the fans strike back now on display at the corner of West 14th street and sixth Avenue in lower Manhattan. Everything you see was either made by him or obtained through a collaboration with other fans. Every imaginable universe. Every imaginable world is visited throughout this experience. It's got a lot to offer for those who are and are in Star Wars fans. We start to think about ourselves in these roles and you can really the collectors and the collaborators, those who built out a lot of these pieces realize life lessons. We start to delve deep into the ideas of good versus evil, dark versus light and when you reach the end, you'll see a painting that was recently painted by another super fan colleague of his, but it's a painting of him dreaming about this exhibition as a, as a young boy, the exhibit, hoping you find the force within you. There's a real passion in fans strike back for the idea of celebrating what you love. So I'd like each fan to come away with that re connection that enhanced connection to the overall saga and that, that understanding that they can go out and create their own universe.
