Bronx Arts and Science Charter School in Throgs Neck held a moving-up ceremony for its kindergarten class.
Due to the coronavirus, the graduation ceremony had to be pushed back, but the little scholars got their moment to shine on Friday.
The charter school opened its doors two years ago and runs from kindergarten to second grade.
Despite being fairly new, the school says it’s ahead of the curve with an ample supply of personal protective equipment.
Not only is the school performing temperature screenings, but it is also installing thermal monitors at its front entrance.
